📺 Bio
JKT-born and LA-raised. I grew up there until about middle-school, where my parents decided to move back permanently.
I began my career as a lawyer at Magic Circle firm, Allen & Overy, where I practiced M&A law. I fell in love with the job and the people; spent about 2 years there where I attained great knowledge, lifelong friends, and a chronic ulcer. When I realized that the cost (typhoid, liver problems, losing gall bladders—and I'm not even kidding—etc. etc. etc.) of working there is not worth the benefit (a plateauing learning curve), I decided to move on.
I had a short stint in human rights law at Amnesty International after being invited to join by a professor of mine in college. Inspiring, moving, eye-opening.......not for me 😶
After some ~soul-searching~ (and figuring out that I loved M&A but just needed a different angle), I joined early-stage VC firm, Venturra. I finally felt that I was in the right place. I had the best job in the world: I get paid to learn, whether about new business models, markets, consumer behaviors, etc. (even had a session about blockchain and the dark web that was more fun than work 👾). Plus, I can say now that I'm at work when attending very serious conferences with other VCs in Bali 🏖
Now, at this next phase of the journey, I'm super excited to join Golden Gate Ventures to continue doing what it is I love to do 🙆🏻♀️ and already impressed by the sheer number of puppy pictures on Notion 🐾🐾🐾

I have 5 tattoos in (relatively) discreet locations.
A bonafide geek at heart: I have a thing for mechanical keyboards (believe me, you don't wanna go down that hole) and 80s-90s retro games.
