About the Host
Jerome got his first computer when he was 12 and immediately started programming video games. Deciding that computers were too much fun, he got a CS degree and started programming professionally.
In the mid-90s, he moved to the Silicon Valley and got bitten by the startup bug. He has since co-founded startups and built products in domains stretching from aerospace and IoT to social networks and enterprise software.
He has lived and worked in Europe, the USA and several countries in Asia before arriving in Singapore. In-between founding startups, he worked as a technology expert, helping companies of all sizes overcome hard technology problems. A very early Cloud adopter, he has been active as a founder and a mentor in the startup scene in South-East Asia and Japan since 2006, guiding multiple companies in their journey. When he’s not helping startup founders, he enjoys traveling, taking photos, and working on his social enterprise helping people with autism.
