Dea leads the Indonesian market operation for Golden Gate Ventures, with over 20 portfolio companies in the country. It is her day- to-day mission to support portfolio companies to continuously grow, providing hands-on assistance in multiple aspects primarily through sales leads and partnerships — while continuously on the lookout for great startups to invest in for the firm.

Initially starting her professional career as a news producer in an NBC-affiliated news station in Missouri, United States, Dea comes from a diverse background of journalism, PR, and marketing before finally finding her pursuit in growing and building tech companies. Dea has been an active member of the Indonesian tech industry since 2011 and brings over 8 years of internet startup experience since the day she co-founded a software development house specialising in building e- commerce infrastructure with top nation retailers as clients based in Jakarta.

She enjoys talking about scaling early-stage companies, venture capital funding, and women empowerment through entrepreneurship. Dea holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from University of Missouri.
