Driving a Single Customer Focus

About the Host

Cameron grew up on a kiwifruit orchard in New Zealand. When he wasn’t feeding calves, he was building cars. At 24, Cameron had his third run at entrepreneurship that turned into Tradegecko - which provided SMEs an easy way to manage their inventories by syncing new purchase orders, multiple sales channels, accounting softwares and shipping platforms.

In 2012, when the team was accepted into the JFDI programme, Cameron moved to Singapore.

From the very beginning, Cameron focused on nurturing and growing every part of the Gecko family - including its customer-centric culture that put it much ahead of competitors. TradeGecko has since grown tremendously to >100 employees, while covering over 100 countries, and handling over billions in transactions.

In 2020, TradeGecko was sold to Intuit and Cameron stayed to rebrand and expand the platform to millions more.
